The Console Mode enable platforms where graphic environment is not available to install GreenVulcano® ESB.
It is available just for *nix platform running:
GreenVulcanoUniversalInstaller.bin -console
Available Installation Options
The available installation options are shown on Installer Overview page.
If you need some help on how to use the installer you can simply run:
GreenVulcanoUniversalInstaller.bin -help
All the available options will be shown.
To install GreenVulcano® ESB in Console Mode:
- Open the physical media or download the GreenVulcano® ESB package.
- Extract the GreenVulcano® ESB archive file to a temporary directory.
- Navigate to the temporary directory.
- Run GreenVulcanoUniversalInstaller with -console option. The Welcome screen displays.
- Digit 1 to continue. The License Agreement screen appears. After reading through the license text, digit 1 to "accept the terms of the license agreement". Digit 1 to continue.
- The Installation Type screen displays. Choose "Complete Installation" by typing 0 or "Custom Installation" typing 1 then click 1 to continue.
- The Installation Target Path selection screen displays. Choose your target installation path (INSTALL_PATH) then digit 1.
- If you choose "Custom Installation" as Installation Type the Select Installation Packages screen displays. You can choose to deselect "JBoss AS 5.1.0.GA" package if you already have your own installation and you want to use it to deploy GreenVulcano® ESB typing 0 otherwise press Enter. Digit 1 to continue.
