One time the installation and configuration process are finished, user can start GreenVulcano® ESB by running the startup script present in the following directory:

$GV_SERVER/bin
File:GVConsolePinguin.jpg In the case of *nix operating systems, the startup script is start_GreenV.sh. Remember to not run

never the startup script as root, but with the user chose for installation, and then the owner of the $GV_SERVER directory.

File:GVConsoleWindowsIcon.jpg In case of Windows operating system the startup script is start_GreenV.bat.

To verify the correct start of GreenVulcano® ESB, connect to GV Console® by typing the following address into your browser:

http://SERVER-HOSTNAME:8080/gvconsole

System administrators will find it convenient to configure the GreenVulcano® ESB start and stop along with that of the server. In this case, the script start and stop of the software can be taken, or be called by the star/stop system scripts.
